Penta for Windows

System Management → Security → Define Users

System Management → System Rules → System Configuration

Resolution/Fix/Answer

When creating an Interface file, it will first look to the System Management → System Rules → System Configuration →  Interface File Directory field.  If this field is empty, then it will put the Interface file in the users' /home directory on the linux server.

Found that the PfW user did not have the correct linux user assigned in the Server User Id field.  The interface file is written to the Linux server users' /home directory.

Also, in System Management → System Rules → System Configuration, the Interface File Directory field was pointing to a directory that does not exist.

Cause

The PfW user did not have the correct linux user assigned in the System Management → Security → Define Users → Server User Id field.

The System Management → System Rules → System Configuration, the Interface File Directory field was pointing to a directory that does not exist.
