Some Ohio cities require electronic filing of W-2's. These cities operate outside of OH-RITA so they need separate report generation.

Resolution/Fix/Answer

Penta allows the creations of electronic W-2 files for Toledo, Maumee, Columbus, Bowling Green and Perrysburg in the EFW2 format. 

• Toledo, Maumee, Columbus, Bowling Green, and Perrysburg are available in the LOV for Electronic W-2 File Locality Name in the Local Taxing Authorities window

  1. Each can be assigned to only one locality

• An electronic W2 file can be generated by locality for Toledo, Maumee, Columbus, Bowling Green and Perrysburg

• Electronic files are in standard EFW2 format and only contain information for the selected locality
