Is it possible to have a PENTA for Windows password that is more than 10 characters?

Resolution/Fix/Answer

The maximum length for a PENTA password is 10 characters for Penta versions lower than 25.1. Penta version 25.1 and higher, the password length is 16 characters.

These special characters should be avoided when creating the user's password: !, #, ^, ", &, |, < and >. 

If the user is experiencing an error when attempting to change a password, please log a service desk ticket and reference this article. Please provide the following:

• User Id of the user receiving the error
• Screenshot of the error message
