Entry for Employer Contributions to HSA
Issue/Symptom/Question
Payrolls were run without this Other Compensation item being connected to a deduction. If ALL of last year's employer contributions were run through this deduction, and I change the Other Compensation item at this time (after payrolls were run for last year), will this information correctly appear on Form W2 Box 12 W? Or is it better to enter totals in as a separate Other Compensation entry for last year?

Resolution/Fix/Answer
You should just be able to link the deduction in the Other Compensation window and then run your W2s. These will be picked up once you make that connection.
