Re-open Closed Accounting Period

Issue/Symptom/Question

I need to re-open an accounting period that is already closed.

Resolution/Fix/Answer

Unfortunately, there is no ability to re-open a closed accounting period. A user with Accounting Authorization Level 3 or 4 in their Defined Users record can post journal entries into a closed accounting period.Â
