Issue/Symptom/Question

• When attempting to open an xml document in OnBase,
• When querying a particular document type

you get the following error

The following error occurred.
Message is: Access Denied.
Description is: Access is Denied
Ensure you have MSXML 6.0 or greater

Resolution/Fix/Answer

This will typically mean that there are style sheets with an incorrect path associated with the document type

1.) Identify which document type is associated with the document. You can find this by right clicking the document and choose properties

2.) Check the Document type in config tool to find the path that the style sheets are using. You can do this by clicking on the XML style sheets button

3.) Correct the path or copy the style sheets to the path listed.
