Establishing Crystal Report parameters in PENTA
Issue/Symptom/Question
When attempting to generate a Pick Ticket report via the Open Requisitions - Inventory window an error message appeared indicating Crystal Report parameters are required to initiate the report:
Where are these parameters established and what are the appropriate parameter settings?

These parameters are generally applicable anywhere in PENTA where a PENTA process automatically initiates the creation of a Crystal Report.
PENTA for Windows
Inventory > Warehouse Transactions > Open Requisitions - Inventory
Resolution/Fix/Answer
The parameters can be defined within any window that is a PENTA for Windows window. The Open Requisitions - Inventory window for example:
Open the window and select File > User Preferences > General:
Navigate to the "Reports" tab:
Enter the following path for View Executable: C:\Program Files (x86)\Penta Technologies, Inc\Penta for Windows\crParam115.exe
Enter the following path for Report Files Path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Penta Technologies, Inc\Penta for Windows
Lastly click "Apply" and then "OK"
Cause
These values are not pre-populated as not all customer configurations are the same, However the vast majority of PENTA configurations follow these standards, if these values do not result in the ability to generate an embedded Crystal Report please submit a support ticket.
