I am exporting a Crystal Report from Penta to PDF. Then I am loading that PDF into OnBase.

When I was choosing the Format to export to I noticed that ODBC is one of the options. Is this something we could use to save directly into OnBase?

Hyland's supported method for adding documents to the OnBase repository from external sources is via the OnBase API. The API allows the uploader to pass enough information to OnBase for it to determine how the document should be archived, and with what metadata. Because of that an ODBC connection would not work for exporting crystal reports.
