Issue/Symptom/Question

What do you mean by Expense Product (EXP_CD) in the Product Interface

Applies To

  • Inventory
  • Product Interface

Resolution/Fix/Answer

  • The expense Code is a required field in the Product Interface
  • This field indicates whether this is an expense product
  • If you are not using Sales Orders in PENTA default this field to 'N' = No
    • Setting to Y indicates to PENTA that the Product is for Internal Company Use and is prevented from being used on Sales Orders
