Issue/Symptom/Question

How does the interface functionality work when introducing new employee files into the system?  There are already employee ID numbers assigned in the system.  Can you pre-assign the new  employee ID's to each record in the interface file to introduce into PENTA?

Resolution/Fix/Answer

You can assign the employee ID's within the file to what you would like them to be before you interface into PENTA.  Make sure you do not use employee id's that are already assigned in PENTA. 

Upload the interface file with the pre-assigned values and Penta will pick the employee ID numbers up.
