Maintain Minimum Quantities in a Warehouse
Maintain Minimum Quantities in a Warehouse
Issue/Symptom/Question
How do we use PENTA to maintain minimum quantities of products in a warehouse?
Applies To
Identifying/Assign Reorder Points of Products
PENTA for Windows > Inventory > Setup > Warehouse/Product Information
Resolution/Fix/Answer
Step 1. Assign a Reorder Point for the Product in the Warehouse using the Reorder Point field in the Warehouse/Product Information window
Step 2. Periodically (Daily, Hourly, Weekly, etc.) run the Product Id Reorder Report
If all parameters on the report are left blank, all products in all warehouses at or below the reorder point will show on the report. This means it is time to reorder.
Note: Use a -1 in the Reorder Point field if the Product should not have a reorder point and should never show on the report.
