Employee SDI/SUI rates and limits
Issue/Symptom/Question
We have an employee that worked in 2 states (MA & NJ) during 2018. When Penta calculated the Taxable SUT Wages for NJ, it took the wages earned in MA into account when calculating the Employer Taxable SUT Wages for NJ. However, the wages earned in MA were not taken into account for the Employee Taxable wage basis for SUI and SDI.
Why are the wages in other states for the Employee pieces not being considered in the taxable wage amount?
