Earned Revenue on jobs are not calculating as expected

Resolution/Fix/Answer

PENTA offers multiple revenue recognition method for lump sum/fixed price contracts. 

1. Review which Revenue Recognition Calculation Method is assigned to the job.  This information can be found in the Job Information window on the Other/Financial tab.

If the calculation method is incorrect, and you have overridden the calculation at the job, change the job's calculation method to the correct revenue recognition method.

2. If the calculation has not been overridden at the job, look at the Job Type assigned to the job and confirm the correct calculation method is assigned to the job. If the calculation is not correct, change the calculation method. 

3. Reverse the revenue recognition process with the incorrect revenue calculation and re-run revenue recognition.  You can review results in the Project Review Forecast Entry window.
