When creating timecard entries via the the eTime application there is a search function to aide in the identification of the Job Id when entering hours against a job. When returning the list of jobs does PENTA limit the list to jobs the user is authorized for?

Does eTime (PENTA Web or mobile application) apply job security restricting users to entering time on those jobs they are authorized for?

Resolution/Fix/Answer

Yes - both the PENTA Web and the PENTA Mobile Application utilize job security. Users are limited to charging time to jobs for which they are authorized, either based on the job's OU Id or based on the specific list of jobs the user has been granted access to. As users perform the "search" function PENTA will only display the jobs they can charge, this minimizes the list of jobs the user needs to search through.
