XOi user in Mobile Field Service (MFS)

How to set-up a technician as a XOi user?

Resolution/Fix/Answer

A technician can be made a XOi user by updating the XOi Email Address field in the 'Mobile' tab  in the 'Define User' window in PENTA.

This field will be available for entry only when:

  • the Config_key of 'XOiEnabled' should be set to 'Y' in the Configuration table, which enables XOi in the environment.
  • the technician is enabled as a MFS user. (Y in 'Mobile Filed Service User' field)


Note: The email address will be accepted in the XOi Email Address field only when it has @ and . characters, otherwise it will throw an error.
