Rapid Check Processing

Overview:

PENTA offers a process designed for expediting the payroll check process for a single employee or small group of employees. This process is most commonly used for layoff checks. The rapid check process consists of the following:

  1. Enter a timecard batch which includes ALL of the employees hours for the pay period
  2. Kick off the rapid check process, which automatically processes the following steps all in one:
    1. Timecard Distribution
    2. Gross to Net Processing
    3. Create PR Check Files
  3. View/Print the check

The video below walks through the process of kicking off the rapid check process for a rapid check batch. The output of this process is a completed payroll check.
