Unit Pay Codes

Overview:

In PENTA, Unit Pay Codes apply to situations where employees are paid based on units completed (as opposed to hours worked). Unit Pay Codes describe work performed and are the level at which you establish pay rates within Unit Pay Rate Schedules. Unit Pay Codes can be entered on the Daily and Weekly tabs of the Time/Equipment/Production Units Entry window.

Benefits:

  • Combine with other Payroll data points to enable dynamic payment of employees in PENTA.
  • Allows for productivity based payment of employees.
