Notification of upcoming subcontractor insurance expiration

Issue/Symptom/Question

How do I know when insurance certificates for my vendors (subcontractors) are expired or about to expire?

Will PENTA notify me about expiration dates for insurance certificates managed at either a subcontract level or at a vendor level?

Resolution/Fix/Answer

The PM: Subcontractor Insurance Status workbench panel provides notification of insurance certificates that are "Due to Expire" or have "Expired", separating those certificates that are managed at a vendor level (Master Insurance Certificates) from those that are managed on a individual subcontract level.

The Master Insurance Certificates and Subcontract Specific Insurance Certificates PENTA reviews for consideration of expiration is controlled by the values defined for the workbench panel. See the example below where all Active vendors and all Active subcontracts issued on jobs within legal entity 11000 are reviewed per the panel parameters.

Additionally the warning period used to flag insurance certificates that are in the "Due to Expire" category is controlled by a setting defined within the same panel parameters window.
