We are entering into a transaction that will require us to generate a 1099-INT at the end of the year. I do not see where Interest is a valid 1099 code on the vendor information screen and I can find no reference to 1099-INT set up in the online resources. How do we set up a vendor so any payments will be reflected on a 1099-INT form?

Resolution/Fix/Answer

Penta does not support a 1099-INT. If you need to keep track of 1099-INT payments, you will have to do so outside of Penta. Also, to report this, you’ll have to use the resources on the IRS website to do so.
