Customer Equipment Manufacturers

Overview:

The Customer Equipment Manufacturers window allows you to define the different manufacturers of the customer equipment you support and identify which OUs have authorization for each ID. You can use this information to further describe equipment classifications (Rheem air conditioner versus Trane air conditioner, for example) when establishing your standard Maintenance Schedules and cost estimates. It is not required that you define your standard estimates at the manufacturer level; you may want to set up a single manufacturer of “Generic” if you do not break your estimates down to that level of granularity.

Benefits:

  • Useful for specifying the type of manufacturer for each piece of equipment.
