Mobile Service Configuration - Status Rules
Overview:
If your organization is using the Penta Mobile Field Service application, you will be required to setup status rules. Status rules determine what the workflow of status codes is. For example, a work order can start with an 'Unassigned' status, then be updated to a 'Dispatched' status giving the tech access to begin work, the technician then has options for putting the work order 'In Transit', 'In Process', 'Waiting on Parts', etc. This window is where you configure which status codes the mobile field service technician will have access to, and what the next available status code can be.
Benefits:
- Build out a status rule workflow process for technicians using Mobile Field Service
Roles:
- Service Manager
