Work Package Manager - Administrators

Overview:

Use the Work Package Manager – Administrators window to define the PENTA Users responsible for importing submitted and approved TEP activity logs into the PENTA Time/Equipment/Production Units Entry window. In this window you can assign a Primary Administrator to each OU. By default this administrator is responsible for importing activity logs for all foremen/crew leaders assigned to the OU. If you assign Primary Administrators by foreman/crew leader, you are able to define Primary Administrator overrides by foreman. Additionally, you can define Alternate Administrators for each Primary Administrator. Alternate Administrators are responsible for importing activity logs when the Primary Administrator is not available.

This window consists of the following tabs:

• Assign Administrators tab – Use this tab to assign a Primary Administrator for each OU that has foremen submitting activity logs. If the Primary Administrators for this OU vary by foreman, use the Overrides by Foreman block to define the Primary Administrators where different than the OU level Primary Administrator.

• Alternate Administrators tab – Define the Alternate Administrators for each Primary Administrator. Alternate Administrators are responsible for importing activity logs into the Time/Equipment/Production Units Entry screen when the Primary Administrator is unavailable.

Benefits:

• Provides controls over who has access to import Time into PENTA.
• Allows for overrides at the Foreman level.
• Allows for Alternate Administrators to be assigned based on the Primary Administrator user ID.
