Standard Costcode Descriptions

Overview:
This window provides the ability to pre-define costcode descriptions for a variety of costcode masks with the goal of reducing data entry during the job setup process. Many contractors have a standard list of costcodes, and each costcode has a single costcode description that is uniform across all projects. For example, if costcode id 2010 represents footings and foundation, regardless of what project that costcode may exist on, it makes sense to set up a Standard Costcode Description of footings and foundation for costcode 2010. When adding a new costcode to the job, the user would then need to enter 2010, and the standard description of footings and foundation will populate automatically saving on data entry.
