Scan and Link Documents
Overview:
The Paperclip Icon on many master record windows (Customers, Vendors, Employees, etc.) is used as a portal into OnBase. Documents linked to a record that a User has security access to are visible through the Paperclip portal. Also, documents can be scanned with a desktop scanner or to a network drive and can be added to a record through the portal. Documents generated by PENTA are also automatically linked and accessible through the portal if needed.
Benefits:
Provides access to documents without needing to go into OnBase by querying on fields (vendor Id, PO #, etc.)
PO's, Subcontracts, etc., generated by PENTA are automatically stored in OnBase and available to be viewed/printed

Additional Content
Users need OnBase Security configured to allow access to view Document Types in the Paperclip
User needs an active OnBase User so PENTA can look up the User's Security for the Paperclip
