Options

Overview:

The Options window (also referred to as System Options) is where configurable features can be modified.  Not all options can be changed without Penta assistance, however most are available to be changed.  It is strongly recommended that any option change should occur in a Testing environment first and thoroughly tested before changing the option in Production.  Most options are set based on Discovery Questions and discussions with the Penta Implementation Architect.  If an option needs to be changed, and the option number is not known, reaching out to Penta with a question is a good place to start.  For example, changing the number of days used to trigger a warning that a subcontractor's insurance is about to expire is controlled by option #1.
