Change Password and Password Configuration Rules

Overview:

The Password Configuration window is used to set the rules for PENTA passwords. For example, you can input the number days until expiration as well as the length of the password.  These rules do not apply if the user and password used to log into PENTA is the Activity Directory user and password.  The Active Directory Password requirements are applied in that situation.

  • The PENTA Application has a separate User Id and Password than the Active Directory User Id and Password, and if configured, both the Active Directory User and PENTA User will work to log into PENTA.
