Enter/Approve Change Requests
Overview:
The Change Requests window lets you enter, modify, and view Change Requests and changes to an estimate; specifically, you can:
- Record job-related “issues” that could impact the job’s estimated cost, projected total cost, contract value and/or committed costs
- Group each issue into user defined Change Request Type categories
- Track the evolution of a Change Request from pending to approved/rejected using user definable status codes
- If available, you can enter amounts, units, and hours in detail at a job/Cost Type/Costcode level. Based on the change type and status, this detail can immediately update both the job’s budget and projected total cost
- Track revisions to the Change Request financial data
- Track each change request’s progress history
- Create a Change Request form with a single button click
Benefits:
- Track and review profit margin on the original project scope vs additional change requests
- Ensuring all change requests are properly entered/tracked in the system, with the correct status code, will provide for more accurate reporting and earned revenue calculation
