Enter/Approve Change Requests

Overview:

The Change Requests window lets you enter, modify, and view Change Requests and changes to an estimate; specifically, you can:

  • Record job-related “issues” that could impact the job’s estimated cost, projected total cost, contract value and/or committed costs
  • Group each issue into user defined Change Request Type categories
  • Track the evolution of a Change Request from pending to approved/rejected using user definable status codes
  • If available, you can enter amounts, units, and hours in detail at a job/Cost Type/Costcode level. Based on the change type and status, this detail can immediately update both the job’s budget and projected total cost
  • Track revisions to the Change Request financial data
  • Track each change request’s progress history
  • Create a Change Request form with a single button click


Benefits:

  • Track and review profit margin on the original project scope vs additional change requests
  • Ensuring all change requests are properly entered/tracked in the system, with the correct status code, will provide for more accurate reporting and earned revenue calculation
