Enter/Approve Change Requests
Overview:
The Change Requests window lets you enter, modify, and view Change Requests and changes to an estimate; specifically, you can:
Record job-related “issues” that could impact the job’s estimated cost, projected total cost, contract value and/or committed costs
Group each issue into user defined Change Request Type categories
Track the evolution of a Change Request from pending to approved/rejected using user definable status codes
If available, you can enter amounts, units, and hours in detail at a job/Cost Type/Costcode level. Based on the change type and status, this detail can immediately update both the job’s budget and projected total cost
Track revisions to the Change Request financial data
Track each change request’s progress history
Create a Change Request form with a single button click
Benefits:
Track and review profit margin on the original project scope vs additional change requests
Ensuring all change requests are properly entered/tracked in the system, with the correct status code, will provide for more accurate reporting and earned revenue calculation
