Issue/Symptom/Question
How does the workflow work on Activity Logs?
Applies To
TEP
Resolution/Fix/Answer
- Activity Logs start in a NEW status when created.
- NEW status Activity Logs can be deleted by the Foreman on the Log or the Creator of the Log.
- Once the Activity Log is started, the status changes to IN PROGRESS.
- The Foreman working on the IN PROGRESS log can delete.
- After the Activity Log is completed, the Foreman submits the Activity Log to the Approver, if approval is on, and the status changes to SUBMITTED.
- If approval is off, the Activity Log is ready for import into PENTA for processing and goes to APPROVED status right away
- The Approver Reviews the Activity Log and Marks the Activity Log APPROVED, if correct
- If the Activity Log has issues, the Approver corrects the Activity Log prior to marking the Activity Log APPROVED
- APPROVED Status Activity Logs become COMPLETED once imported into PENTA
If there are significant issues that a fresh start on the Activity Log is needed by the Foreman, then the Foreman can copy the SUBMITTED log and tweak or start from scratch with a NEW Activity Log. Depending on the version of PENTA, Reassigning the activity log may be an option, see Reassign Activity Log.
