Overview:
The Warehouse/Product Information window to enter, view, or modify information about a product within a warehouse. Products/Warehouse combinations are automatically populated in this screen when a piece of inventory is placed in a warehouse for the first time, however users can also enter a Product/Warehouse combination in this screen before inventory is stored in a given warehouse, this would be done to define certain aspects of a product in a warehouse ahead of time. Attributes that can be altered in a warehouse includes: Various Quantity checks (On-Hand, Open Orders, Receipts, Transfers), Stocked Unit of measure (originally this is set at the Product Master level), Scrap Factor Percentage, and re-order point.
Benefits:
- Allows for greater control of Product Information on a warehouse by warehouse basis.
- Used to easily manipulate Product Quantities for specific warehouses.
