Overview:

Communication records can be logged and tracked throughout a project's lifetime, in PENTA, a communication has a required attribute of type. A communication type allows you to categorize the various types of communications that occur throughout a project and the Communication Types window is where you setup these different types.  Examples of communication types: emails, transmittals, submittals, or a phone call conversation 

Benefits:

  • Provides a way to create custom types of communications to use in project administration
