Issue/Symptom/Question

Error received when opening a PENTA window: 

Authorization Failed

Invalid server username/password.

System Error

An internal problem has been detected while executing this menu item. Please contact PENTA customer support immediately and give them this information.

Applies To

  • PENTA for Windows
  • System Management > Security > Define Users

Resolution/Fix/Answer

  •  Re-enter the Server User Password for the User experiencing the error in the Define Users screen
  • User will need to log out and back into PENTA for Windows

If you do not have access to update Users please either contact your internal IT department 

Cause 

The user does not have a Server User Id or Server Password on their User Id or the Server User and/or Password is incorrect.
