Budget/History Entry

Overview:

The Budget/History Entry window allows you to:

• Enter a new budget uniformly across a year. You can enter multiple budgets that monitor performance against different standards. To enter a weighted budget, use the Annual Financial Budget Allocation window.

• Modify a budget that you previously entered on this window or the Annual Financial Budget Allocation window. If you enter these as adjustments, PENTA retains modifications to the original budget. If you enter these as an original budget, the previous budget amount is lost.

• Load historical actual performance data from another system for generating historical financial statements.

Benefits:

• Allows for Budget vs Actual Financial Reporting
• Track budget revisions as part of this process to capture original vs final budget
• Ability to load from a spreadsheet or allocate using financial budget weight factors
• Track various budget types for internal, external, accounting, etc.
