Is it possible to have line items to appear on Work Order invoices?

Environment

PENTA for Windows → Service Management → Work Order Information → Work Orders → Billing → Printing/Line Items

PENTA for Windows → Service Management → Invoicing → Setup → Work Order Invoice Layouts

Resolution/Fix/Answer

Customers either utilize PostScript or DocGen reports for Work Order Invoices.

  • If the Customer is running PostScript, the only changes that can be made are within the Work Order Invoice Layout window:
    1. Query back the Layout # you are using today for Work Order invoices
    2. Navigate to the Invoice Grouping section
    3. Highlight the row that automatically populates
    4. Hit the bottom arrow or click the Insert button
    5. Expand the Group list of values 
    6. Select Line Item
    7. Set any other settings you prefer in that section
