Is it possible to have line items to appear on Work Order invoices?
Environment
PENTA for Windows → Service Management → Work Order Information → Work Orders → Billing → Printing/Line Items
PENTA for Windows → Service Management → Invoicing → Setup → Work Order Invoice Layouts
Resolution/Fix/Answer
Customers either utilize PostScript or DocGen reports for Work Order Invoices.
- If the Customer is running PostScript, the only changes that can be made are within the Work Order Invoice Layout window:
- Query back the Layout # you are using today for Work Order invoices
- Navigate to the Invoice Grouping section
- Highlight the row that automatically populates
- Hit the bottom arrow or click the Insert button
- Expand the Group list of values
- Select Line Item
- Set any other settings you prefer in that section
- If you are using or are willing to use DocGen, you will need to submit a Service Desk ticket to move forward with planning a customized invoice.
