Resolution/Fix/Answer

The OnBase server is not available. Please contact your system administrator.

This error message is displayed because Penta can't communicate with the OnBase server. A common cause of this can be that the server is offline and not available. Please contact your OnBase system administrator for more information.

You do not belong to any OnBase user groups. Please contact your system administrator.

This error message is displayed because your Penta user does not belong to any Groups in OnBase. To fix this you will need to contact your OnBase system administrator and ask them to add you to the appropriate User Groups. For a reference on how to add a user to a group: Error when adding User Group to user: "ORA-20123: An error occurred within the Unity API.... User 'POBSYS' does not belong to any user groups" .

Your OnBase credentials are incorrect or your account is locked. Please contact your system administrator.

This error message is displayed for one of the following reasons:

  1. Your OnBase account is currently locked.
    1. To Fix this please contact your OnBase system administrator and ask them to unlock your account.
  2. Your OnBase Username and Password do not match what is in the Define Users screen of Penta.
    1. To Fix this please go into the Define Users screen and update the OnBase User ID and On Base Password. This should match your Penta User ID and Password. If you cannot update the OnBase User ID and Password fields in PENTA please contact your OnBase system administrator and ask them to update your Username and Password.
  3. Your User does not exist in OnBase. To fix this please contact your OnBase system administrator and ask them to create your user. You will then need to add that User ID in the OnBase User ID field in the Define Users screen.
