Overview:

The Product Class Information window is used to assign to a product Id.  The Type and Class are used to take a large list of products and group them into smaller more manageable and searchable lists.  For example, a Type of Wire and Class of Electrical or Copper can be assigned to a product, or a Type of PVC and Class of Elbow.

Benefits:

  • Search and retrieve products more quickly

Roles:

  • Warehouse Manager
  • Purchasing Manager
