The Unit of Measure window allows you to create and update unit of measure codes and descriptions which are how you define quantities of material you agree to purchase or deliver. Units of Measure defined here, can be reference across all of PENTA, including the following modules/areas:

- Inventory
- Inventory Transfers
- Sale of Inventory
- Project Management
- Subcontracts
- Estimating
- Forecasting
- Production Units Complete
- Unit Price Billing
- Fixed Asset/Equipment
- Equipment Charging
- Maintenance Units
- Service
- Customer Equipment Meter Readings
- Unit Rate Billing
