Overview:

The Bank Transaction Initialization window is used to mark all previously reconciled transactions as reconciled, so those transactions do not appear on the first bank reconciliation.  This is useful for customers that have been using PENTA and have many transactions prior to the Bank Reconciliation module being used in PENTA.  The purpose is to mark all transactions as reconciled before the first period to be reconciled, then search for outstanding transactions and uncheck them as being reconciled to pull them into the first Bank Reconciliation in PENTA.

Benefits:

  • Quickly mark all transactions before a date as reconciled
  • Search for a specific transaction(s) and mark it reconciled or reconciled

Roles:

  • Accounting Manager
  • Controller
