Overview:
Maintenance Schedules dictate the frequency with which maintenance is performed for both Internal Assets (i.e. Fixed Assets) and External Equipment (i.e. Customer Equipment). Regardless of the intended use, all Maintenance Schedules are created in the Maintenance Schedule Information window. Once a Maintenance Schedule is created and assigned to an Asset/Equipment it cannot be deleted. Maintenance Schedules are user created, Penta does not have a "stock" set of Maintenance Schedules. If you are using Maintenance Schedules to track maintenance for an internal asset, then the Maintenance Schedule will be assigned at the Asset or Asset Class level. If you are using Maintenance Schedules to track maintenance for an external asset (i.e. Customer Equipment), then the Maintenance Schedule will be assigned out to a Maintenance Schedule, where it will apply to the relevant customer equipment.
