Overview:

The Change Requests window is used to enter, modify, and view change requests that will impact a Job Estimate or Contract.  The Change Requests entered into PENTA create the Change Management log that is used to track the changes, both internal and external.

Benefits:

  • Record job-related “issues” that could impact the job’s estimated cost, projected total cost, contract value and/or committed costs.
  • Group each issue into user defined Change Request Type categories.
  • Track the evolution of a Change Request from pending to approved/rejected using user definable status codes.
  • If available, you can enter amounts, units, and hours in detail at a job/Cost Type/Costcode level. Based on the change type and status, this detail can immediately update both the job’s budget and projected total cost.
  • Track revisions to the Change Request financial data.
  • Track each change request’s progress history.
  • Create a Change Request document with a single button click that is saved in the document repository
  • Create different versions of a similar change.  For example, the plan called for a wood floor but customer wants to see what marble, tile, etc., would cost and the impact.
