Overview:
As Submittals are created and ultimately updated in PENTA's Project Administration module, each submittal has a status code. A submittal status code can be Open, Closed, or Cancelled, however, the Submittal status codes window allows you to create multiple of each, and assign them a unique description An example of this could be having multiple 'Open' status codes, for purposes of tracking if the submittal has been sent to the GC, or if the submittal has been received from a vendor. Ultimately, PENTA will view these status codes as open, but you can track as many as needed.
Examples:
Closed:
- Approved
- Distributed
- Approved as Noted
Open:
- Amend & Return
- Received from Vendor
- Sent to GC
- Received from GC
- New
Cancelled
- Cancelled
Benefits:
- Provides the ability to track the status of submittals
- Track submittals using a variety of status codes, but still summarize the submittals on the PENTA workbench under Closed, Open, and Cancelled status codes
