Overview:

The Unit Pay Rate Schedules window allows you to create pay rate schedules for unit rate payroll. A schedule is a group of Unit Pay Codes with per unit pay rates specific to that schedule. Associating a Unit Pay Rate Schedule with a Pay Rate # (via the Payroll Classes window Standard Charging tab), facilitates paying employees the correct rate for the units they complete. Unit Pay Rate Schedules apply to situations were an employee is paid based on units completed and not hours worked.

Benefits:

  • Combine with other Payroll data points to enable dynamic payment of employees in PENTA.
  • Allows for productivity based payment of employees.
  • Can be combined with Hours based pay to create productivity based bonuses within PENTA's payroll module.

Roles:

  • Payroll Manager
  • Payroll Clerk.
