Issue/Symptom/Question

Authorization Failed

Invalid Username/Password message pops up when a PENTA window is opened

System Error

An internal problem has been detected while executing this menu item. Please contact PENTA customer support immediately and give them this information.


Applies To

  • PENTA for Windows
  • System Management > Security > Define Users

Resolution/Fix/Answer

  •  Re-enter the Server User Password for the User experiencing the error in the Define Windows screen
    • System Management > Security > Define Users
  • User will need to log out and back into PENTA for Windows

If you do not have access to update Users please either contact your internal IT department or log a Service Desk ticket providing the following information:

  • User Id

Cause 

The user does not have a Server User Id or Server Password on their User Id or the Server User and/or Password is incorrect.
