Overview:
The Paperclip Icon on many master record windows (Customers, Vendors, Employees, etc.) is used as a portal into OnBase. Documents linked to a record that a User has Security security access to access are visible through the Paperclip portal. Also, documents can be scanned with a desktop scanner , or to a network drive , and can be added to a record through the portal. Documents generated by PENTA are also automatically linked and accessible through the portal , if needed.
Benefits:
- Provides access to documents without needing to go into OnBase by querying on fields (vendor Id, PO #, etc.)
- POsPO's, Subcontracts, etc., generated by PENTA are automatically stored in OnBase and available to be viewed/printed
