Why can't I find an employee I have Pay Group Security to see?

Resolution/Fix/Answer

If the Employee is Confidential and Option 156 is set to N, then the Confidential Employee does not exist in the Emp HR or Emp Info windows for the User with level 1 or 0 payroll access

If the Employee is Confidential and Option 156 is set to A, then the employee can be queried, however a popup message will indicate the access to the Pay Rate tab is not allowed for the User with Level 1 or 0 payroll access

If the Employee is Confidential and Option 156 is set to Y, then the employee can be queried, however a popup message will indicate the access to the Pay Rate tab is not allowed for the User with Level 0 payroll access

Cause

Pay Group Security gives access to see all employees assigned to that Pay Group in PENTA.  However, Option 156 can be set to hide Confidential Employees within a Pay Group or a Confidential Pay Group that is accessible to the User.
