Overview:
Payroll Check Comments allow you to print a message or comment directly on employee payroll checks. Payroll Check Comments can be applied at the Pay Group level, Payroll Class level, Employee OU Id level, or for a single Employee. An example of a Payroll Check Comment could be to print a message on the check stub notifying employees about a calculation change, or perhaps in regards to retroactive pay rate adjustments due to union contract changes. Payroll Check Comments must be entered prior to processing payroll, and the expiration date if one is entered, must be after the check date.
