Is it possible to turn off getting notifications for every service desk ticket opened by people in my organization?

Is it possible to turn off getting notifications for every ticket opened by people in my organization? I really only care about ones I open or get added on.

There is no default to control Service Desk ticket notifications. There is an option, for the user who is creating the ticket, to create a private request. At the bottom of the ticket you can choose Private request or Share with 'Your Organization'. You are receiving notifications when users are choosing to Share with Your Corporation. Everyone would need to create their requests as private and then share with those who need to be informed manually.
