Error Message: "Unable to update OnBase security groups for OnBase user "[VALUE:1]""
Issue/Symptom/Question
While trying to add an existing Security Group to a User, I receive the following error message, "Unable to update OnBase security groups for OnBase user "[VALUE:1]".

Resolution/Fix/Answer
Check to see if the user already exists in OnBase Configuration under Users>>User Names/Passwords as the error is likely appearing because the user already exists within the OnBase system. If you do not have access to OnBase Configuration please submit a Service Desk ticket and reference this article. Please provide the following information in your Service Desk ticket:
- Screenshot of error message
- User ID being modified
- Security Group # & Name
