Document Security Group is not Authorized Error when attempting to Approve Documents for the Employee Portal
Issue/Symptom/Question
One of our users is receiving an internal system error when opening the Approve Documents for Employee Portal. Clicking OK to this error, the window opens but, this user receives the below error:
Your document Security Group is not authorized for document type XXXXX. Please contact your ECM administrator.

OnBase Configuration
Resolution/Fix/Answer
This error is usually resolved by updating the Penta user's OnBase password. If this does not correct the error, complete the following steps:
Verify the user has correct document type security in OnBase Configuration > Users > User Names & Passwords > User Groups.
Verify User Group has the correct document security via OnBase Configuration > Users > User Groups & Rights > Employee Portal Group > Document Types.
Have the user log into OnBase with their known password.
Update the user’s OnBase password via OnBase Configuration > Users > User Names & Passwords > Queried user > Settings > Updated password to match the Penta OnBase password.
- Have the user log into OnBase with the updated password.
