Overview:

The Material Transfer window allows you to update inventory records for a transfer of materials from one location to another. A location can be a warehouse location, account, job, or fixed asset.

When you transfer inventory from one destination to another, PENTA does the following:

• Backs out the tax associated with the transferred inventory using the tax jurisdictions/tax rates for the “From” location.

• Calculates the tax associated with the transferred inventory using the tax jurisdictions/tax rates for the “To” location.

Benefits:

• Track unused materials on Jobs or Work Orders and give Job Cost Credit
