Overview:

The Costcode Breakdowns window allows to you create/modify your organization's work breakdown structure. For example, you can breakdown a standard 4 digit costcode into two or more sub categories called segments. By providing breakdowns in the costcode structure, reports can be generated to view summarized cost by the breakdown segments. Below is a brief example using a four digit costcode. Using the costcode breakdown of phase and detail, you can now run reports to view total cost by individual phase, total cost by detail, or total cost across all phases. 

• First 1 digit represents the Phase
• Last 3 digits represent the detail

1000 - Site Preparation

1010 - Building Permits

1020 - Temp Untilities/Equipment

1030 - Insurance

1040 - Lot Clearing

2000 - Excavation and Foundation

2010 - Footings and Foundation

2020 - Rebar and Reinforcing Steel

2030 - Concrete Block
